What to expect when you use the service for the first time

At your first stop smoking session, you will discuss your smoking patterns and reasons for quitting. The advisor will explain the range of treatment options that are available to you, and also help you to plan for your quit attempt. You will also be given the opportunity to check the carbon monoxide levels in your body using a ’smokerlyzer’.

There is a range of different treatment options available that can double your chances of quitting smoking. These include the nicotine replacement therapy, such as patches, gum and inhalator. These can be provided at all of our clinics* and are free to individuals who do not have to pay prescription charges. The nicotine replacement products are also available to pregnant women wishing to quit.
