What to expect when you use the service for the first time
We will ask you about your general health and any medication you are taking. We will also test your urine and offer a bladder scan. This isn’t painful. It involves putting a probe on the abdomen to measure your bladder capacity.
At the end of the assessment you will be taught on how to perform pelvic floor exercises, and given information on how to keep your bladder healthy. If you follow this advice. your treatment programme should be successful.
