Stechford and Yardley North

Stechford and Yardley North lies approximately three miles east of Birmingham city centre.

One in five persons living in the ward are restricted by limited long term illness. Stechford and Yardley North ward had higher mortality rate than all of Birmingham, 10% higher across most age groups. The leading cause was heart disease caused by smoking, lack of exercise and obesity and cancers (lung, breast, colon and prostate).*
