Sheldon
Sheldon is an area of eastern Birmingham close to the border with Solihull and Birmingham International Airport. It has a low percentage of ethnic minorities.
Sheldon ward has the highest population of people living in it from retirement age. Coronary heart disease is the highest cause of death, along with cancers such as colon and prostrate cancer. However the ward is low for diabetes, pneumonia and stroke.*
