Patient and Public Involvement
NHS Birmingham East and North would like to talk to you about your views on local health services.
Contact our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) team, which is committed to involving local people in the development of local health services. Their role includes:
- Keeping residents informed about health services in the area
- Consulting local communities about planned changes to health services
- Involving communities when decisions are being made which will affect how health services are provided.
Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Officers help the trust to achieve this through carrying out community activities within identified priority areas.
Local people can give their views through a range of surveys designed to help improve their healthcare services.
The trust also asks for patient feedback on specific services such as the new Urgent Care Centre, in order to establish patient views on the service.
We also hold regular consultations to find out your views on the impact of major changes, such as the arrival of new surgeries.
