Learning and Workforce Development
The Learning and Workforce Development function comprises of two core teams covering a variety of work streams, these are as detailed below:
Learning and Development
The Learning and Development Team are responsible for highlighting, promoting and providing access to learning and development initiatives across the Trust. This includes:
- Providing mandatory training and corporate induction to all staff and ensuring compliance
- Providing advice and assistance with regard to the KSF appraisal process and relevant training as necessary
- Providing development and training opportunities to support staff in climbing the skills escalator.
Workforce
The Workforce Team is responsible for providing development opportunities for staff through community partnership programme and promoting and developing the future workforce in a variety or ways. This includes:
- Coordinating work experience placements, placing apprentices within the organisation and creating links with education
- Working across the local health economy to ensure a future workforce committed and high performance workforce transferable across the local area.
