Resources

The Resources directorate looks after the financial and estate management of NHS Birmingham East and North. It is led by Jonathan Tringham, Director of Resources. The directorate is responsible for the following areas:

• The Primary Care Commissioning team ensures that primary care services reflect local health needs and makes sure that quality standards are set and maintained by all contractors.
• The Capital Planning team is responsible for preparing the trust’s Estates Strategy and its Strategic Service Development Plans. In addition, the team makes sure that planned new premises meet the adopted standards and criteria.

• The Finance Department provides financial advice to NHS Birmingham East and North, designs and maintains systems for the proper recording of financial transactions, and designs and maintains the budgetary control system
